しかし、これは"金"ではなく、チタンでコーティングされています。-However, it is coated with titanium, not "gold".-

耐久性がある-Durable-

食器具にコーティングされているものは、主な目的は耐腐食性向上です。-The main purpose of what is coated on food utensils is to improve corrosion resistance.-

このコーティング方法だと、色味がゴールド系統で比較的安価というのが特徴です。

包丁以外にも、ギヤやスクリューシャフト、スプーンやトングにも使われています。-This coating method is characterized by its gold color and relatively low cost.-

コーティングによる硬度ですが、サファイヤ相当の高硬度(ビッカース硬度2000～3000HV)と言われており、かなり硬いことが伝わりますね。-The hardness due to the coating is said to be as high as sapphire (Vickers hardness 2000-3000HV), which conveys that it is quite hard.-
